The Guesthouse Project organises open house events that introduce our audience to new work made by our resident artists. We present experimental film screenings, improvised and experimental sound art, performance art, readings, gramophone sessions, exhibitions/ installations, discussions, talks and presentations. This setting is a place where the audience can respond to their experience, converse with the artists and others in a relaxed and convivial environment that encourages the exchange of ideas. The kitchen is the social center of The Guesthouse events and we encourage artists or enthusiastic cooks to take on the Guesthouse apron and participate in cooking.
We welcome proposals from Arts organisations, Festivals, arts institutions and funded projects etc.to use the building for seminars, residencies, meetings, work development, and workshops etc.
