Clubhouse was launched in March 2010 by artists Irene Murphy and Claire Guerin.  It is a weekly open day in the Guesthouse every Tuesday running from 11:00 – 16:00.  It was initiated to give viewing time of the space and to allow guests to appear unannounced, use the internet and perhaps talk about upcoming projects.  All are welcome.

At the moment Clubhouse is hosting a Lacan reading group every Tuesday organized by The Cork Artist Collective’s Colette Nolan.  And the reading group runs from 15:00-17:00.  There has been a recent demand for more reading groups on various subjects and we are open to more suggestions.  The attendants of the reading group are currently a mixture of local artists interested in learning more about Lacan and three practicing Psychiatrists who are interested exploring the texts in discussion.
